Agenda for WRC 2012
The Radio Regulations, which are agreed and modified at regular World Radiocommunication Conferences are one of the main tools for managing the radio spectrum . WRCs meetings are held approximately every 4 years. The time between WRCs is used in preparation for the next conference. Technical work based upon the agreed Agenda and Resolutions, proceeds at industry, national and regional level and is coordinated through Conference Preparatory Meetings under control of the ITU-R.
The last WRC was attended by nearly 3,000 delegates, including staff from Transfinite Systems. It revised the Radio Regulations and agreed on the Agenda for WRC 2012. The work was broken down by Agenda Item or Resolution, and then the Conference Preparatory Meeting (CPM), which followed directly after, allocated them to ITU-R groups which are responsible for completing the work.
These web pages describe for each of the Agenda Items which Visualyse products could be used to analyse the problems and assist in the preparation for WRC 2012.
