Resolution(s): |
Resolution 227 (COM5/30) |
Description of work: |
Sharing studies for possible MSS allocation in the 1-3 GHz range including the band 1683 - 1690 MHz including 1) determining approprate separation distances between MES and MetSat stations, 2) assess the current and future requirements for spectrum for MetAids, 3) if sharing unsatisfactory then consider alternative bands in the 1-3 GHz range. |

How Visualyse products can help: |
Visualyse can model systems such as the MSS and MetSat systems that would operate in the 1683 - 1690 MHz band and can be used to calculate coordination distances and interference under more realistic assumptions. Visualyse can also be used to analyse a wide range of services, so it can be used to examine the alternative bands that might be considered in the range 1 - 3 GHz. |
